At 2,650 metres, Gulmarg transforms into a winter wonderland between December and March. Our Winter Ski & Snow Safari gives you six full days on pristine Himalayan slopes, guided by IISM-certified ski instructors who know every run on the mountain.
Whether you are a first-timer looking for beginner lessons or an experienced skier chasing powder runs on Kongdori Bowl, this package is structured around your skill level. Evenings are spent in a heated wooden cottage with Kashmiri Kahwa and live folk music.

Daily Itinerary
1
Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar & Drive to Gulmarg

Arrive at Srinagar Airport and drive 56 km to Gulmarg through pine-forested mountain roads dusted in snow. Check into your heated cottage. Equipment fitting session in the evening and briefing with your ski instructor.

Day 2
Beginner & Improver Ski Lessons

Full day on the lower slopes of Kongdori with your certified IISM instructor. Gondola Phase I included. Evening bonfire with Kashmiri Kehwa and folk music at the cottage.

Day 3
Intermediate Runs — Kongdori Bowl
+
Gondola Phase II to Kongdori Summit at 4,200 metres. Access to longer runs and the famous Kongdori Bowl. Packed lunch on the mountain. Free skiing in the afternoon on your chosen terrain.

Day 4
Advanced Skiing & Optional Heliskiing

Full day of independent skiing or heliskiing briefing. Heliski drops to virgin powder fields above the tree line (at additional cost). Return by 4pm for debrief and rest.

Day 5
Snowboarding & Snow Trekking Day
+
Swap skis for snowboards or join a guided snowshoe trek to the Outer Circle meadow above Gulmarg. Panoramic views of Nanga Parbat on a clear day.

Day 6
Final Runs & Departure
+
Morning session on your favourite runs. Return equipment by 1pm. Drive back to Srinagar for onward travel.
